SERVICES
Custom installation is our specialty. When we say that we do custom, we mean that we truly customize your system and/or equipment to perfectly fit your needs and your space. Custom installation includes anything from the mounting of a projector or flat-panel monitor, the hook-up of your components, speaker installation, calibration, remote programming, to the full installation of your dream home theater.
We perform installations in both new construction homes and existing homes, and we have a staff of specially trained installers to complete each installation.
WHAT TO EXPECTHere is a step-by-step process of the journey you will take to creating your dream home theater.
Custom Design
We begin the process with an in-store consultation where you have the option to bring in blue prints, and sit down with a member of our construction division for design and construction ideas. We utilize this consultation to learn about your listening and viewing habits, your requests for specific qualities to incorporate into your system(s), and then make recommendations based on your lifestyle.
We can also begin the process by conducting an onsite consultation. This is the best way for us to make recommendations. It allows us to assess the location, to take measurements, to recognize potential obstacles, and ultimately to offer options for design and layout.
After one or both of these consultations, we build architectural drawings based on your design or designs that we have created. These are used as the framework for your future home theater.
Equipment Selection
After you have selected the design for your home theater and/or whole house audio/video distribution, you will then have a better idea of the equipment needed to complete your system(s).
We offer a wide variety of high quality audio and video components. Each of our product lines have been specifically chosen because they provide a superior performance or quality. With systems ranging from $1,000 to $500,000+, we can design a system to meet any budget. Want to hear before you buy? Our seven custom showroom environments provide you with a variety of listening and viewing environments with all the latest technologies. We offer everything from DLP, LCD and HD-ILA Projectors, LCD and Plasma TVs, floor-standing speakers, in-wall speakers, surround sound receivers, two-channel/stereo components, and more. And don’t forget all the extras. We offer home theater furniture and seating, movie theater style posters, popcorn machines, and more!
Pre-Wire
After you have the design and equipment selected, we can wire inside the walls for the layout of your speakers and equipment and/or whole house audio/video distribution and control. This will ensure that your home is ready for the installation of the lifestyle system that you have created.
Construction
This is when the fun begins. We are now ready to begin building your theater. One of our construction teams will build your theater according to the design you have selected. The construction process may include demolition, framing, plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling, drywall, painting, finish carpentry, tile, carpet and more. Custom designs may also be incorporated into your system such as soffits, curved walls, faux columns, tiered seating and anything else you can imagine.
Installation
After the construction is completed, our own experienced installation technicians will install the equipment (TVs, projector, screen, mounts, receivers, speakers, etc.) that you have chosen. Installation includes but is not limited to, the mounting of a projector or flat panel monitors, equipment installation, hook-up of components, and speaker installation.
Programming and Training
The final consultation will teach you how to use your system. Everything that we design and program is created to be user-friendly. We know from experience that people will not enjoy their new system(s) if they don’t know how to operate it. A universal remote will be the finishing touch on your system. It will eliminate all other remotes and leave you with simple controls. With a press of a button, you will be able to turn on your entire system, and with a press of another button, you can simultaneously start the movie, dim the lights, and close the electric blinds.
Our installation technicians will teach you how to operate the remote, as well as the other components in your system. We will ensure that you have full control of your theater or distribution system.
